Description

Modified wire with increased Mn-Si content. Wire G3Si1/ER70S-6 is designed for MAG (GMAW) welding of unalloyed steel. Applications include the manufacture of building structures, pressure vessels and ships. The BMW wire has a low P and S content, which ensures stable arc burning and low spatter levels. Ar/CO2 or pure CO2 gas is used as shielding gas.
